Tyn Y Felin Refurbishment

Overview -
We carried out a full refurbishment on the old cottage at the Tyn Y Felin outdoor education centre in Rhoscolyn. The long awaited refurbishment brought the uninhabitable part of the centre back to life providing comfortable living accomadation for the on site manager.
The cottage was fully stripped back to its bare stone structure, with all floors excavated and roof coverings removed. New insulated concrete floors were formed, new electrical and plumbing systems installed and external walls insulated with an internal wall lining system.
Finished off with new slate roof coverings, kitchen, bathroom and external render, but retaining some of the buidlings original charicter such as the timber ceiling beams and fire place, combining a great mixture of modern and traditional finishes.

Overview -
Working with our client Revolution Energy Services we carried out the Builders Package of works for the Local County Council Authority on Anglesey.
This project involved the casting of reinforced concrete pad foundations with holding down bolts to provide a strong base for the steel frame which was erected using a crane. We also installed a full new surface water drainage system along with the underground ducting to provide new routes for power cables. All the excavations were then reinstated with new tarmac.

This recently completed project was carried out for a private client on Anglesey. We demolished the existing delapidated house and constructed a new build doormer bungalow consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen/diner, utility room and generously sized living room.

Overview -
One of our commercial clients appointed us to carry out some mains services alterations. Our scope of works included excavating for mains gas pipes and electrical feeds, casting a new concrete base and constructing a new blockwork enclosure to house a new incoming electrical supply.

This property was having issues with damp in the kitchen. We stripped out the existing kitchen, removed the damp plaster and waterproofed the walls. Finished off with a new compact but modern kithcen and tiling.
